I am a professor at the Faculty of Education (FaE) of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel/Brazil). I obtained my Bachelor’s (1998) and Master’s (2000) degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC/Brazil), and my Ph.D. (2012) on Information and Knowledge Engineering at the Computer Science Department of University of Alcalá (UAH/Spain).
I am an active member of the Latin-American Community on Learning Objects (LACLO). My research focuses on Learning Technologies, Metadata Quality, Learning Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Distance Learning.
